【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversrelativestabilityofmiddledistillatefuelsunderhightemperatureagingconditionswithlimitedairexposure.ThistestmethodissuitableforallNo.1andNo.2gradesinSpecificationsD396,D975,D2880,andD3699andforgradesDMXandDMAinSpecificationD2069.Itisalsosuitableforsimilarfuelsmeetingotherspecifications.Thistestmethodisnotsuitableforfuelswhoseflashpoint,asdeterminedbyTestMethodsD56,D93,orD3828,islessthan38C.Thistestmethodisnotsuitableforfuelscontainingresidualoil.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
