【摘要】:ThispartofISO8894describesahot-wire(parallel)methodforthedeterminationofthethermalconductivityofrefractoryproductsandmaterials.Itisapplicabletodenseandinsulatingshapedproductsandtopowderedorgranularmaterials(see6.2),forthermalconductivitiesoflessthan25W/m·K.Thelimitsareimposedbythethermaldiffusivityofthetestmaterialandthereforebythedimensionsofthetestpieces;higherthermalconductivitiescanbemeasurediflargerpiecesareused.Electricallyconductingmaterialscannotbemeasured.NOTE1Thethermalconductivityofproductswithahydraulicorchemicalbondcanbeaffectedbytheappreciableamountofwaterthatisretainedafterhardeningorsettingandisreleasedonfiring.Thesematerialscanthereforerequirepretreatment.Thenatureandextentofsuchpretreatment,andtheperiodforwhichthetestpieceisheldatthemeasurementtemperatureasapreliminarytocarryingoutthetest,aredetailsthatareoutsidethescopeofthispartofISO8894andareagreedbetweenthepartiesconcerned.NOTE2Ingeneral,itisdifficulttomakemeasurementsonanisotropicmaterialsandtheuseofthismethodforsuchmaterialsisalsoagreedbetweenthepartiesconcerned.
